Using Ford Barn as an distraction

CCPU,

I am sorry to hear of your loss, may God Bless You and Family at this time of need.

Stay strong and by all means use this as a distraction, John

Losing someone without getting a chance to say goodbye is very painful, but I can't image how hard it must be to lose one of your children. I'm so very sorry.
You and your family are in my prayers.

30 Closed Cab,

My heart goes out to you and your family for the loos of your son.

May God Bless you and your family during this time.

Will be using FB as a distraction the next few weeks. Please understand if I make errors, or posts do not make sense.

Woke up this morning to my door bell ringing, opened the door to 2 Air Force men. They had come to inform me that early this morning my enlisted 23 year old son had died where he is stationed in Texas. No other details.

I am located in Texas (DFW) and a Veteran; if there is ANYTHING I can do to help you please let me know via message or on this forum. I will send you my contact info in a message.

Words cannot express the sorrow. A child is not supposed to go first. I cannot imagine the sorrow that you are going through. May God comfort and be with you at this time and always!

I am so sorry to hear about your son. We expect them to be safe when they are stateside and only worry when they are deployed to a hostile area.

When you are up to it, it would be nice if you could tell us about him and post some pictures of him.

Bryan

Thank you for all the support/response. It has taken me by surprise. Am feeling/doing a lot better. The amount of support is overwhelming. Offers/Condolences from friends, neighbors, family, even people I barely knew before retirement from where I worked work.

This is unexpected, since I am a bit of a loner.

All the response including FB has helped, thank you.

Losing someone is never easy. I lost my wife a few years back, but I am certain that it is something that could never begin to compare to the loss of a child. But I do know that God helped me to get through after the loss of my wife, and I am quite certain that he has a plan that will help you through this time of loss. In the meantime, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God bless you!

I am so sorry to hear this tragic news. May the great memories bring you some comfort. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

oh ****!

So sorry to learn about the loss of your son. I lost my 14 yr old daughter to a drunk driver, and can and will forever remember the moment I was told. It was the most crushing thing that ever happened to me. Time will help heal the wound, the memories will always be there so you will never forget, it truly gets better as time goes on. I have a saying that I use to remind myself about friends and loved ones that have passed, " If we never forget them, they will always be with us" May the Lord help you in your time of sorrow.
Tony

I recently read the obituary of your son in the local paper. It certainly sounded like he was a wonderful young man, and would have been the type of person anyone would want to call a friend. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. As long as there are good memories in your heart, your son is never far away.

God's Blessings,

Stew Masche
