Used Model B Pistons (Any Desire?)

I’m going thru a parts lot I received. The engine parts are Model B pistons w/wrist pins, connecting rods and loose valves. Valves look unused but no packaging, so not 100% certain on their application. Pistons are a set, marked 1-4 and 040 over. Parts were in a box marked “Ford B” and wrapped in late 1970’s newspaper.

I know the Rods are good cores and have a use. But is there a need or desire for used pistons and valves.

What are your thoughts?

As with all used parts it's a gamble. Packing and shipping alone usually exceed the value. Once somebody gets them they'll need to clean and inspect they measure and hunt down a set of rings. Even the rod cores have little value since new rod with insert bearings are being produced.
