Thanks for all the help and ideas. I found the noise, it was a leak on the intake manifold (crack on intake manifold) I brazed the crack and also the exhaust manifold gasket was off center. Both fixed and no more noise
I was asked why I am using a fuel pump. Remember this is a model T with a model a motor. The gas tank is under the seat, and the gravity is not adequate with out the fuel pump. I hope this answers your concerns.
