Update on 2 pole temp. Sender

I DISASSEMBLED ANOTHER 2 POLE SENSOR and found out the following using boiling water, thermometer and continuity checker setting on my digital Ohm meter.

The tiny adjustment screw DOES control the temperature at which the sender
contacts open. Turning the screw clockwise increases the temp. setting. Turning it counterclockwise lowers the temp. at which the contact points open.

You must be sure to reassemble the innards of the sensor in the same position and facing in the same direction as they were in when you removed them from the brass bulb. TAKE PHOTOS. You need a thin pair of needle nose pliers to pull the innards out of the bulb. It's a snug fit so get a good grip on the top of the two metal spring clips and PULL. Make sure the innards are fully seated in the brass bulb upon reassembly.

I was able to adjust the tiny screw so that the contact points open at 205(approx.) degrees.

I'll now seal the sender up with JB WELD and try it out next time I need one for my car. I'm not sure if it works but. I hope it does. Hope this helps someone in need.
