Unusual wheels

I have come in possession of two unusual wheels mixed in with a bunch of Model T wheels sold at an auction. They are a combination of a fellow and a tire rim. The ends of the tenons are covered by a metal band around the circumfrence that is riveted in place through the valve stem hole. The rim is 1" larger in diameter (25" vs 24") and the tire bead retaining lips are 1/4" narrower (1 3/4" vs 2") than a Model T. The front wheel hubs are identical to the Model T hubs. What do I have?

David, I don't know about the rims, but the edge of the rim that goes into the groove in the clincher tire looks like it is rusted into a very sharp edge. This edge will cut the clincher tire and you will end up with something old timers called a rim cut. Get it welded or somehow built up into a blunt edge or don't use this wheel.

This appears to me to be a non-demountable steel felloe wheel that Ford used as standard equipment on 1920 and later T's that were not equipped with optional demountable rims. By the way, rim sizes are measured by the inside diameter of the tire so the maximum diameter of the rim will be 1 to 1 3/4" larger than the rim diameter. This wheel is probably a front 30 x 3 ( 24" rim).
