Unusual part # prefixes

I ran into c couple of carb parts that I can not ID the part#'s. I have ran onto simular numbers in the past but have never asked about these. The number prefixes are 26H and 16H. The 26H-9533 is carb jets and the 16H-9902 is needle valve assembly. Thanks Rod

As with many carb parts, these items are very likely 'multiple application" pieces that interchange between models and years.

Example - I found the 26H-9533 jets are used in a Holley 2bbl carb that goes on a '55-'56 car with 272 cid engine. The parts list sez it's a #57 so that might help. I remember from days ago that many carb jets were stamped with the size on them and were 'select fit' depending on type of carb and application.

I couldn't find anything on the 16H-9902 valve but it likely is a "multi-application" item as well. I don't have a Linc-Merc parts book for 40s-50s but if you have one it may be shown in one of the carb parts lists.

Got it and replied. Keep in mind that I am less than 5% sorted through all of this stuff, so likely will have more questions. Thanks Rod
