I bought this head recently and do not know much about it. It looks like someone ground the name mostly off, but you can see some of the letters.
Any one have any information.

I don't know the name but I would be worried about the fact there is no fly cut over the pistons. Depending on your engine even with a gasket there may not be enough room between the top of the piston and the head. Could be that who ever made it figured out the spark plugs were in the wrong place and they didn't want their name associated with it so they ground it off. :)

Ha, I was thinking exact same same :D ! And, what the heck is that 'groove' between the plugs...all about ? Seems like a place/thing for weak spot..no ?
I looks to be about 6:1 or better to me.

Thanks for the input. I was curious as to the rarity of the head, I have not seen another like it. The spark plug holes do not seem to have inserts, but could be drilled for the larger model a plugs.

That head is a stock Model A replacement that has been cut probably .150 or .175 thousands. The combustion chambers are just like a stock head I have that was cut .125. I also have a motor in the shop that has an uncut head with the same markings. Probably won't get much performance out of it. I will post some pictures tomorrow.
