Unknown Ford Rocker Moulding Trim ?
Can someone identify what year Ford this Rocker Moulding Trim is for?
It is 2 Metres long = 6.56 Inches
Notice that both ends are identical.

Correction I omitted listing the 6 Feet in front if the Inches.
Length is 6 Feet & 6.56 Inches

Hi merman, I've measured 1 off my Crown Victoria ~ it's 2020 meters from the longest point ( 6' 7 and 1/2 inches ) It looks the same as the one in your photo. It's 3 and 3/16 inches wide. PS ~ 205 meters is 6' 6 and 7/8 inches.. Cheers ~ stiggy..
 
Paul, My mistake, I omitted adding the 6 Feet in front of the Inches.
Length 6 Feet & 6.56 Inches.

Thanks Abe Lugo for your suggestion.
This is the Rocker Moulding on early Mustang.
It looks similar but the smooth area on the top of mine is wider.
 
Not sure how long mine was. but looks the same as on the '55 Mercury Montclair I used to have.

scicala, It is not 55/56 Mercury as their Rocker Mouldings are just under 84 inches long.
Also, the back part of it is angles down, not up, different to the trim in question.
This Moulding is for a 1956 Mercury.
 
The length leads me to believe it is a 1955-56 Ford passenger. I have one for a 52-54 but it is 84 1/2 inches long.

Just checked and the one that I have is not for the 1952-1954 Mercury?
Notice that the back end tapers down like on the 1955-1956 Mercury.
This is the 1954 Mercury Rocker Panel Trim
The mystery continues?
