what is the best type of grease to use on a torque tube type u-joint in a 47 ford. Would a thin high temp grease be best. Also how much grease Thanks

I have been using grease made for modern CV-joints, for 20 years, with no problems....Ed

It has been discussed on the Old Barn about using John Deere Corn Head grease. I have found this to be a good grease that will keep from slinging off and staying on the outer sides of the U-joint housing. It is sticky and thick but will flow enough to keep the joint lubricated and still resist leaking out.
