Universal Grease Problem

Posting have suggesting John Deere Cornhead grease is a good use for the universial/drive shaft bearing within the ball and socket housing. I am finding conflicting reports that the NLGI# of this and other greases used is #0. Yet some people have suggested using grease with NGLI #00 even claiming that the cornhead is #00 which it appears it is not. ANY further ideas of a NGLI #0 versus #00.
