Unibody 1961-1963 Ford F100 Pickups

Can somebody please help me with a question about the 1961-1963 Unibody Ford F100 Pickups. I know that they come in both Shortbed & Longbed models, & some have Big Back Windows while other have Small Back Windows. Question, was the Big Back Window standard on the "Custom Cab" Models & the Small Back Window standard on the Base models? Regards Mercman <><

I believe the big back window was only on the 63 model custom cab

From my research these Unibody Ford F100's Pickups were only made for 3 models, 61, 62 & 63.
They were not the success that Ford Motor Company hoped for.
Recently, two Unibody F100's have been imported into Australia, both are 61 models, both are Custom Cabs & both have Big Back Windows.
I have researched quite a few books on Ford Trucks, but can find no particular mention as to which trucks had them & if they were standard or optional on the Custom Cab models.
So, the 63 models were not the only model to get the Big Back Window.

I wish I could help with the question, but simply put I don't know. I drove my 62 short bed Unibody to highschool and it had the larger window, but was not a custom cab. Will post a pic when I can. I really regret selling that pickup. I seen pic's of its current condition a couple of years ago and it about made me sick. Rod

This little beauty now resides in Australia. It has the Custom Cab & Big Back Window.
