Anyone have a suggestion for cleaning the underside of my '35 hood. I thought about using Dawn dish soap and some fine steel wool.
I would try WD-40, Simple Green or like cleaner. I'd be leary of steel wool or an abrasive 3M pad unless you want to rebuff the paint under there (cleaning is bad enough). I try to keep underside of the hood clean, wiped and use some polish to make the next time easier. LouB.Anyone have a suggestion for cleaning the underside of my '35 hood. I have said this many times on the old barn. I use "Awesome". Get it at the Dollar General store for a $1.00 a bottle. I have found nothing better. Spray on hose off, spray on hose off until all the grease is gone. Just be sure to hose with water until all soap is gone. If you don't like it, send me your address and I'll send you a $1.00.
