Want to paint engine parts for a 39 motor.Engine and trans. is green, but what is painted black&what is the proper gloss?I've seen listing in Eastwood catalog for underhood black at 10-20% semi-gloss but is that correct for original look?Also is there a recommended brand of engine paint.Thanks
Hey Gary,A good rule of thumb is.....cast iron parts are green,steel sheet metal parts are gloss black,genny is gloss black and exhaust manifolds are grey.Hope this helps.diz
