underbody color ?

Getting ready to paint underside of body .My question is do you paint it the upper body color or are they just painted black? I think upper body color would look sharp

Well originally Ford instructed the Branches not waste valuable paint on the bottom-side of the body so most probably left still in Red Oxide primer, --or in bare metal. For the sake of preservation, we paint the bottomside in the main body color.

Thanks Brent, I did find some traces of red oxide primer (oranger than red oxide of today) on some of the sub rails,upper body color is perfect since I went to all the work on the underside.Just didnt want to cover it all up with black
