U-joint Housing Bolt Orientation

In reviewing the archives here I see photos with the bolts oriented with the bolt heads either on the transmission side or the torque tube side of the clam shells.

Bratton's catalogue states that the "top bolt has the castle nut facing the rear and the others have the castle nut facing the front of the car", but the reference to "facing" seems confusing to me. What is correct?
 
The top bolt goes only one way, just the way the ****** top is designed. So if I remember right Bratton is correct. I will check when I get home tonight as I am about to pull my diff out this weekend.

I just took mine off last night and you are correct. All nuts face forward except for the top bolt/nut. That one faces rear.
