two tooth steering box lubrication

having some maintenance done on my car and they noticed the steering gear box was low on oil so they topped it off with oil. now it is probably about 1/2 oil and 1/2 grease. One of the comments I had seemed to think a mixture would be ok. will let you know when the "A" comes home

A mix of both grease and oil ? I think thats probably what most have.

None nearby, I was hoping for someone to pitch in for the effort if I took the time to chase down Tractor Supply, also not nearby.

Barkhamstead,Ct has a tractor supply. Not sure how far that is from you. I’m using their 00 grease seems to work fine. Warm it up before installing.
