I know that it's probably a piece of imported junk, but when I saw this on eBay, I had to order it! It was less that $20, though.

I can't for the life on me figure out why someone would go to the effort to dream up, design, and tool up to make these things. Sure, 95% of it is probably some billion unit production line item, but the last 5% had to be quite substantial. The '51 gauge cluster was a one year only thing. I wonder what the potential market is? 100? 1000? Why would anyone that doesn't own (and love) one of these cars want one? I never understood mass-marketing; maybe that's why I never got rich.

The watch came today. You can all save your money; it's not very good. The face is just a picture of a '51 gauge cluster, and not a very good one at that. Mine has a lighter blotch between 7 and 9 o'clock and another about 95 mph that makes it look even more fake than it actually is.

The watch itself seems to work fine, and at a glance, it's kind of neat, but the quality just ain't there. I guess I'm not completely disappointed, because I don't even have a watch at the present time, but I wish I had saved the $18.
