Turn signals

Hello I have a question for you all. When I purchased my 30 sedan it had working LED turn signals. The light switch quit working so I replaced it but lights still don't work.I by passed the flasher and the lights work front and back so I figured I had a bad flasher so I changed but still nothing. I checked the socket where the flasher goes and I'm getting power there. I'm using the same type flasher that was used when they were working before which was 6 volt so I really don't know what else to do. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Are your turn signals integrated into your existing (original) lamps, or are the turn signals separate lamps? You stated that the turn signals were LED, so I'm assuming they are separate unless you replaced your stop lights with the new LED's.
If separate, then your Lights (controlled by switch in center of steering wheel) should have nothing to do with your turn signals.

Turn signals should just be controlled by your steering column turn signal (for example, a signal-stat 900) and the flasher.

There is (or should be) a fuse going to the X terminal on the flasher. Check for 6v there to ground. If you don't have 6v, then check/replace the fuse.

If you have 6v there, then jump the X to the L terminals. This bypasses the flasher, and the turn signals should illuminate L or R side (but not flash). Turn the lever to the left and right sides, and check for LED lamp illumination.

If they light, then the problem is in the flasher. Replace with one of the newer electronic flashers that are independent of lamp load.
