Turn signal recommendations

Has anyone had any experience with this unit sold by Mike's A-ford-able?

It is described thus:

"Now you can have super bright LED turn signals for your ""A"". Kit includes LED turn signals, stainless steel brackets, controller and wire. The easy hookup connects to 6 Volt or 12 Volt cars with negative or positive ground without even flipping a switch. All solid state components, so no flashers to wear out. Bolt on car, no permant modifications needed. One wire hook up. Hazard light function. Lights mount in between the bumper bars."

Peter,
I put that same unit from Mikes-"A" ford-able on my 31 coupe, it is as easy as it gets.
Im not that great on anything elect. and most of the time i call on my buddy for help on anything like this, the inst's are short and easy to understand.
if you have a problem with it give me a call at 770-436-1940 im here in Marietta Ga. ;)

Peter, while I do not have any experience with that unit, I have installed (--and thus highly recommend) the units that BJ & Casey Miller manufacture. CLICK HERE to see their unit. The reason I like theirs is that I can hide the switch up under the dash rail for total secrecy, --or it can be mounted on the shift handle. The biggest difference is this unit does not have the little lights but I like the 'stealth' attitude of using existing tail lamps and either cowl lamps or mount some LED inside the headlamps on the reflectors.

I just installed the logo lights which sounds a lot like the ones pdora describes. They are nice and an easy install. I feel a lot safer: eventhough, I hated to change the original look of my 'A'.

The Signalstat 900 utilizing factory tail lights and cowl lights is pretty unobtrusive. There is the issue of the handle/control box on the steering column, but there are no outside alterations or additions at all.

The Signal Stat 900 knockoff is available for under $20, plus flasher and flasher holder clip.

It works good for my set up with cowl lights and LED taillites plus LED third brakelite.

I am not proposing it equals the one with the circuitry, but it does the job with an era after-market looking switch.
