It's an NOS Ford part.

If you have a '46 Ford you should have 2 wires going to the rear lights. One wire is for the tail lights and one wire is for the stop lights. The turn switch wires to the rear go to the stop light wires. You will need to separate the stop light wires as they are wired together in the original harness. Your switch needs to be able to send the signal to the left or the right. Hopefully you have a diagram to follow the wires.
