Tudor panel forming?

Hi,
I will be spending some time trying to repair the rusty parts on the body of the 1930 Tudor that I am restoring. Welding gear etc. has been brought home for the job. Now, One of the problems I am facing is the lower cowl parts. Now, I have invested in some replacement panels which have the holes for the cowl band in i, plus that nicely shaped reinforcing band at the bottom of the cowl. However, the pattern part that I hold in my hand is made from a completely flat piece of sheet meal, and the lower cowl on a Tudor, where the horisontal profile goes, actually makes a nice curve. I am completely new to sheet metal work ando doubt that some of you have tried to do metal restoration on an A, so any advice will be most welcome. Thanks
