Dick, call C and G Parts in Escondido. They can tell you if the kit for the Ford will fit the Merc.

I just installed the Chassis Engineering front shock kit and it makes a big difference in the rocking and rolling. It really handles well now. Kit was $160

Like Mike42, I have a Chassis Engineering kit on my'46 woodie but I went one step further and installed Bilstein shocks. The nice thing about the CE kit is that you don't have to drill any holes, the shock mounts bolt to the existing shock holes. It improves the ride greatly!

I used the C. E. Kit on the front of my car, too. My front spring is a Super Slide and the shocks that came with it didn't provide enough rebound control. I switched to KYB shocks and made a big difference.
