Anyone ever had trouble removing the centre wooden spoke top mounting rim from the main wheel rim.
I am having awful troubles removing the last one , almost seems that I need to stretch the wheel one eighth of an inch to get the centre rim out.
any advise would be gratefully appreciated.

How about some close up pictures ? Is this a 20" Firestone wheel? Looks like maybe someone has substituted other parts and what is with the 12 bolts thru the hub flange?

Are you trying to dis-assemble to replace spokes or cant get the rim off the wheel as is changing a flat?? I see oil on the rim so I looks like that may be frozen together. ws

The wheels are actually of a 1929 AA truck , research has taught me that Canadian builds had to use up the TT excess stock
What I am trying to do is remove part A from part B as shown below but one wheel just will not give the room to slip the centre out.

Andy,
First, these are not the same as Model TT rears. Similar but not the same.
Second, after removing the 6 lugs there may be a triangular wedge ring that has to be removed. If so, the 6 lugs pressed against it to hold the rim tight to the wheel. It is pictured on the right.

Are you trying to take the rim and tire off the wheel or the hub out of the wheel?
The tire is mounted on the rim and held in place by the snap ring. Then the rim and tire are mounted on the fellow (spelling) which is what the spokes go into. The hub holds the spokes together and is mounted to the spindle or axle. There may be some confusion in the terms that you are using.
If I read it right this is a Model AA Canadian model that came equipped from the factory with the wood wheels. I have seen that information before about some Canadian AA's having wood wheels.

Yes you are correct about the AA Ford truck being available with wood wheels and so became the last Ford to be equipped with wood wheels. We can call Lincolns a separate make and for this purpose not a Ford.;)
