trunk lids

I have 1949 ford coupe that has a smashed trunk lid. what are the differences between 49 & 50 ford trunk lids?Will a trunk lid from a 2 door , or 4 door sedan work on a coupe?Thanks

49 and 50 trunk lids are the same. You can use the hinges for either one. Sometimes the lock mechanism is different due to a change they made later in 1950.
