Has anyone replaced the trunk lid support arms on a 48 Ford coupe with aftermarket replacements? Did the new replacement arms work good? I see you can buy just the replacement springs to install on your existing arms, has anyone gone this way? There is a considerable difference in price between just the springs and the replacement arms and springs.Looking for input from people that have done it either way.
