Trouble installing Trunk Lid Hinges

Hello,
I am having trouble installing the trunk lid hinges on my 29 roadster.
I don't understand what direction to install the bolts and the original "rain gutter" holes are a smaller diameter than the reproduction hinges I purchased. I actually bought two sets because I was disappointed with the one I bought from MACS so I got another from Vintique.

Can someone take a picture of their trunk for me and post it? I have searched for a couple of shots and can't seem to find the right view.

I found this photo online, but the thread indicated the hinges were installed incorrectly. Can any one post this same shot of the hinges correctly installed?
