trouble getting on the barn and the HAMB

My brother has been unable to get on the ford barn, or the Hamb for several days now. I even sent a link ( I tested it and it worked for me ) to him and it said this page not available. anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem may be ? neither one of us are very good at computers. any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, ---Jim

They have been doing a server upgrade should be all fixed as of today. ;)
 
Odd, I haven't had a single problem visiting either site and I usually jump back and forth between about 4 different sites.
 
After a few weeks the web browser on this laptop starts acting up: screen freezing, won't open a page, won't display/play video, etc. etc.
I'm guessing it's because I usually leave lots of tabs open and let it 'sleep' overnight instead of shutting it down.
Doing a Shut Down, or Restart (with 'automatic updates' on) has cleaned it up every time so far.

Since there's a new server,
if his PC is retaining website data (cookies) from the old server that may(?) be causing the problem.

I have had no trouble getting on (no one carding @ the door) but I do have posts and photos disappearing.

There is a thread over @ yblocksforever.com concerning this phenomenon.
 
Yesterday and today I've noticed photo attachments with a file size larger than about 2MB result in an upload failure error message.

I'm here on my ipad. I can not get on either here or the hamb with my laptop. It is old with windows 8. I need to update my browser before it will let me on. I really don't want to buy a new computer, so I probably won't be hanging around that much.
 
mine is making me sign in every time, even though I click to keep me signed in. never did that before.

...sheesh...

All that fancy machine and assembly work ($$$) you do and you cannot afford an upgrade?
