I never had the opportunity to meet Dave, but he gave me great pleasure with his willingness to share his Model A passion with the world. His knowledge, and cars gave inspiration to many. To his family and many friends my thoughts are with you.
I know he was a great friend to you, Gary. I have served with Dave on the JSC and his enthusiasm and talent was amazing; both as a restorer, dad, and husband. He will be sorely missed in the hobby. My condolences to Lisa and Mitchell.
We first met Dave & Lisa at the Yuma Arizona meet back in the 70s. He was a great guy, always willing to share his knowledge with fellow Model A people. He will be missed.

Very sad news indeed. I first met Dave when he had just finished his 28 Phaeton for the national meet in Kansas City. Dave graciously let me thoroughly inspect his Phaeton for details to help me restore mine someday. Dave was certainly one of the great ones and will be missed by many of us.
I only meet Dave once at French Lick last year. He was very helpful in answering questions regarding restoring my 29 phaeton (basket case). He also was a great resource to this forum with his model A expertise. He will be greatly missed. This is really sad news to hear about his passing, as I was out of town for the last two weeks and didn't hear about his passing until this evening.
