Transporting a car

Is there anyone on the Fordbarn that is transporting cars and parts. I am looking to get a car delivered from from Oregon to Blaine WA. There were ads on this site previously but I have not seen them recently.

Thanks

Check over on the HAMB. Several guys offer transport services and have good reps per the feed back on the site.

I have been through this about 4 times. Almost everyone listing services on the net is just a broker, no matter what they say. They post your info on a service called 'Central Dispatch'. I had a real time this past January getting my panel truck to Seattle area from Minnesota. In the end after various brokers and broken promises, I was connected with 'Western Sky Haulers' out of Western Montana. They picked it up in Minnesota the day they said they would and had it in Marysville Wa four days later.Exactly when promised. Husband and wife team. They work all the Western states and I was very happy to have them. The truck was total inop and had a temporary rear axle uder it and it wouldn't steer and it was 9 degrees in Minnesota. No affiliation, just my .02

I sold a car on Ebay a few weeks ago and the buyer connected U Ship, a broker, and they had someone call me to pick up the car before the money was in my account. They sent that driver on his way and the very next day another truck showed up. By that time the money was there and the car was loaded. It went from Spokane to Houston.

I went through an broker a few years ago. Moving from Indiana to Arizona. They were two weeks late picking up the truck. We had moved and had a neighbor deal with the pick up of the truck. I complained and the broker gave his fee portion of the haul cost to the poor driver...Go figure!
It did get here OK and the driver was very professional and polite when he delivered it.
You may pay more for a "hauler" but it's worth it if there "on-time".

I would highly recommend : Truly Vintage. He posts here and on AHOOGA classified section.
I just used him to transport my brother's 73 vette from CT to FL.
Great experience. On time, friendly and got it delivered when he said he would.

That is a short regional haul ....

Someone has to have a haul out of Blaine, WA - probably a car
headed south out of Canada - once they drop off ...

You should find a local transport company ...

Thanks Paul !

I have been a Ford Barn member since before it changed ownership,
I used to have a box ad on both Chevy Barn & Ford Barn at the top
of the forum when Shelly owned it ... ;)

Just dropped off this 1909 Model T Torpedo last Thursday at the
MTFCA Museum in Richmond, IN last Thursday - one of several
vehicles I have hauled for them over the years ....
