I have a 46 flattie w/ a 3 spd ******. What weight of oil should I use for the ******? There are so many out there with different numbers I'm not sure which one to use. Also, my car has a 40 rear end. Can the same oil be used for both?

I rebuilt my transmission this past winter and put in 140 gear lube. No leaks and it shifts smooth.

Mr. Ford determined that S.A.E. 80 winter and S.A.E. 90 summer was best. Don't know why anyone would use different. That's what I use (85W-90)
