Any problems putting the 36 transmission mount on the 39 case? This is going in a 36 and the frame holes for transmission are a little wider for the 36 than the 39 transmission, also need the emg brake holes for correct location.
You will need the 35/6 rear engine mount, the inner cast retainer and the inner spacer plate from a 32-36 transmission. Marry everything together and bolts right in.
I have a '39 box in my '35. There is no problem with mounting a '35-'36 rear mount on the box. While you are at it.... pull out the two transmission frame mountings and install a '37-'40 rear mount. You will increase the riding comfort tremendously by reducing engine transferred vibrations to the chassis. You wouldn't be creating anything new by doing this. Ford started doing it in late '36 on a few limited models. The difference was so remarkable that it became standard as of '37 and was promoted as "New comfort ride." If interested send me a PM and I will forward the directions with pictures.
