Transmission book for later transmissions

Everyone here seems to be high on Mac Van Pelt's transmission book. However, it's for the '32-'48 transmissions. I am an "8BA" guy and am wondering if there is a similar book for the later ('49-'53) transmissions? I see he has an R10/R11 book, which is good. In the alternative, it seems there is a lot in common between the early transmissions and at least up to early '51. Anyone have a good way to go here?

I was aware of that thread, but I am a little concerned because I have become aware the the later '51 and up transmissions are different from the earlier ones. The transmission that I am concerned with came from a July 7, 1951 build car, so I am not sure which, if any, changes had been made and how important they are.

Probably the main reason I didn’t do a post ‘48 rebuild manual was that they were somewhat well covered by the various Ford service manuals and the Motors Manuals that were published in this era. Most fellows of our generation seemed to have one or more of the annual Motors Manuals, which did a passable job of trans coverage. Plus, the original Ford service manuals published from 1949 into the 1960’s have always had fairly comprehensive sections on the manual transmissions.

My FB thread on the 49-50 Merc overdrive transmission was pretty specific AND gives a taste of the 39-48 type three speed units plus the refreshing of the Borg overdrive section (which is broad enough to help with most of the R-10 overdrive units used from 49-62. That thread is still alive and searchable.
