I may be stating the obvious but is your clutch adjusted properly? Dope> what? depending on what we're talking about here .. Umm maybe you'll have the money for a rebuild ; o P

Hey Bob. I can build my own trans but I'm not smart enough to post those nice pic on the barn. I have to get my daughter to it. They didn't have computers when I was a kid but there was a lot more flathead powered cars. I wish I'd kept a few of them. Walt

Talkwrench the clutch does feel really soft, and engages close to the top. I will adj it and change the dope. I have driven several old cars and this one is the softness i have seen. Thank"s
