Trans 81A- 7222 detent balls

I am assembling a 81A - 7222 double detent shifter housing . Can someone tell me the diameter of the balls . Thanks
 
The chassis parts books say one thing but we discovered some years ago that they are exactly 11mm in diameter. We do stock them if you can’t find them locally.
 
Thanks for your reply Mac . My reason for asking is I have just received a detent spring and ball kit from a local supplier here in NZ which according to the label came from a well known supplier in the US . It had 3/8 balls and as you would know they are loose in the bore where they fit , and unless you use stronger springs they allow the shaft to move back and forth , instead of holding it tight . In my opinion , totally wrong .
 
Barry, I brought some balls & springs from Michael Driskell 3rd Gen Automotive a while ago. Same problem, small balls shifter sloppy when assembled. threw in the junk bin.
