Town Sedan vs Deluxe Fordor

[Ruth]

My understanding is a Town Sedan is a 3 window Fordor and a Deluxe is a 2 window Fordor. Is this a true statement? Thank you.

Sorta. All Town Sedans are 3-window, but not all 3-window are Town Sedans. I believe that you are correct that Deluxe are 2-window, but I'm not sure whether all 2-window are Deluxe.

Thanks JayJay, That is what I thought. The reason I ask is in the latest Model "A" News (May-June 2026) there is an article, 'My Husband's Retirement Project', and it states it is a Deluxe Sedan, which threw me a little, because it looks like and has all the aspects a Town Sedan.

Not that it matters, they can call it whatever they want. Just trying to get it straight in my head. Thanks

And I think that a 2-window Fordor is also called "Blindback".
