Towed another one home today

Doesen't need restoring again. Just a major service of everything to make her safe on the road. This is early 31 April on the engine # and non endented firewall.

God bless you ;), I'm over 65, married, some lady friends, and dreams larger than my wallet. Is that a late '31? I got to wondering has anybody re- restored a previousely restored car, or one thats getting alittle tired an worn, taking it down to the frame again? repainting and freshing up.

I re-restored an early 31. Did not take it down to the frame, but darn close. What would you like to know?

Wick, your car is fine. I was thinking of taking my late '31 down again (July '31) Bought my car 40 yrs ago. did mechanicals back then and been driving it since, (except for a 15yr storage, when the kids were growing up) Now, I'm thinking of taking it down, to make everything look nice again.it runs and drives nice and is very dependable. but the body/ paint need the attention.

Really nice looking car Wick
Reminds me of mine when I got, it also suffered from long term storage
That's a great car!

Paint the wheels black, paint the whitewalls black and turn 'em around, get a black Y.O.M. plate, and you've got a car with an attitude!
Heck I wouldn't even paint them I would just turn them inside out. That way people know your a serious Blackwall Panther!!!

Very nice find! I just joined the Barn. I too picked up a 31 roadster that had been in my family since I was a kid or longer. Got parked 30 years ago and then dissassembled for a rebuild. Rebuild never happened so i got a truck and trailer load of roadster parts. Will post pics when I can, gonna need lots of help to get this one back on the road. Thanks , Steve

the car looks great but the story of the car is also wonderful .each car has its on personality and the story is part of the car .I bought a 29 leather back a couple of years ago when cleaning it I found a time capsul with the story of the car
