Our hearts go out to the people of Oklahoma in the wake of the recent destruction and sorrow wrought by the tornado. It's often hard to stand tall and be resolute in the face of such adversity.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those people of Oklahoma during this time of sorrow.. Let God guide the rescue workers so that they can still find survivors.

the tornado in moore ok . missed my place again for the third time ,we can't get back in at the present time to see if we have any damage , the tornado on may 3rd of99 missed me by about 100 feet on the north , this one missed about 3 blocks on the south, I think it will be a wise idea to move as the odds are narrowing towards me every time . we have been known to have earth quakes at the same time some of the tornadoes were touching down, the experts say this one was some of the highes winds ever on the planet, ie. f5. or higher , we have lost about 91 people including about 20 or more young children. we would appreciate your prayes for the ones that lost family and friends as well as all the material things they owned in the world.
I was fortunate enough to be in edmond okla. at the time ,and I was less than one mile from a tornadoe touching down about the same time as the moore tornadoe.
I am very blessed to have avoided such a disaster, each time they hit my hometown.

The National Weather Service at Norman has a unique web listing of tornados from 1890 to present in the OKC greater are. It also has a figure that shows all the pathways through the area. That area imediately south of OKC central has a good number of red (F4/F5) streaks through it. There are others to the north west but not as many. I still remember the one that hit Tinker AFB and tore up all the aircraft there. When they say Tornado alley, they aren't BS'n.

As someone who grew up in the alley, my heart goes out. It makes a person feel real small for sure.
