Toploader to Y block

I have a 292 ford Y block and want to bolt a toplaoder to it. Is this possible? I currently do not have a bellhousing and I am trying to figure out how best to proceed. Quick Time makes a bellhousing for this application, but I really do not want to spend $700 for a bellhousing. Any suggestions?

Early ford toploader or a T5. Assuming since your talking qt it's a T5. You can alter a 3sp bell to except a t5.
