top wood in '30 coupe

I'm replacing the cross slats in my '30 coupe. The original ones droop down. My question is, how much ,if any, upward curvature do they have? I can cut my own with no problem if I know how much curve they have. I know it's a hard question to answer with a definite amount but i bet somebody can tell me. LOl Thanks.

Tonight I checked my '31 coupe and found the top bows to be curved upward with 1 /2 inch deflection at each end and up to 3/4 inch bowed upward in the middle 2-3 pieces. Hope this helps.

Ursus, thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know. I made the header yesterday and one side piece. I just wasn't sure how much bow the slats needed. Thanks again.

Not exactly like sto' bought but they'll do!

Thanks Tom. I'm a muzzleloading gunmaker by trade and I made the top wood pieces from maple gunstock wood. Now I'm anxious to get it painted so I can try the vinyl top. I think I can do it.
