So those of us that are still restoring closed cars, what are you doing for Top Mouldings now?

Since Terry is not making them any longer ( https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2397366&postcount=8 ), I'm trying to decide what is the best approach going forward on this. Hidem is definitely an option but not sure how well that will hold-up over time on keeping moisture from seeping in from the outside around the welt. Maybe use some annealed aluminum flat-stock to use instead of the original moulding? Then seal over the top of the screw head before painting?? Thoughts?

Hello, the aluminum might work, drill and counter sink holes then caulk to seal them, helps if you have a drill press or Bridgeport mill to keep depth even. Good luck.
