Top Bow Question ?

Hi, I am working on a 28 Briggs Fordor. Have completed all my top wood and covered the top bows with anti-squeak material. My question ? Do you attach the poultry wire to the top bows in several spots or just pull it tight and attach at the sides and ends. Have not been able to find Quality wire in my area (ca.) Has anyone tried the using Handi-Cloth 19 ga. but has 1/2 sqaure holes ?
