I've been looking for a thread in adapter for the spark plugs that I can thread my compression gauge into, so far no luck, my napa man has looked every where, I don't want to use the rubber tip set up. Short of machining the base of a plug to do this.
After all these years I've not had to check compression in a big plug engine a lot of farm equipment has the large D-16 plugs that use a 7/8 socket to install/remove and I've not needed to check one till now, I believe they may be smaller than the model A's but anything would help.

Thankyou

Thanks Gents, I had thought of using an old one and threading it, but I'll check with Brattons first.

Thankyou

I have a diesel compression tester that I used a couple of times years ago. Tomorrow I will report back on this post what size it's adapters are. Bill.W.
