I went to NY last week and brought home all the 32-34 parts the old man had in his garage and there were a lot of jacks and ford tools. is there a good site or information for identifying the tools/grease guns/airpumps and jacks?

Thanks...Tom .

The information is very scattered, though you can get a good start from your parts manual!
I have slowly collected a whole mess of tool info, largely from old V8 times articles, over the years and feel like I have a handle on the stuff now, but there is no single neat source.
My first tools, and nearly all my tools for a very long time, were the factory kit from my '48. My Father bought the car new, and it was an export car that got the whole array of tools including the ones that Ford stopped supplying for free during the late thirties.
For a single source, there was a good overview article in the Times maybe 5 years ago, and of course you need the club resto book matching your ride for some good details.

And if you're ever close to NYC, you can root through my 10 pound box of tool info...
By the way, a '32 original kit is most of a good, functional road kit; the '32 jack is a good design with a low hook for front axle and a high hook for rear axle.
