Usually I have no problem passing the winter spare time scanning the Ford Barn posts for issues I might can help out with. But it is now too cold for me to even think about working on a Model A. Temp of -4 and dropping and wind chill of -27.

There was a time though when Michigan winters were all just part of the fun.

I know what you mean . . . Burr, Chill . . . .

Night time low of 42 degrees here in Eureka - so I know what you are talking about !

I had to put a shirt on yesterday . . . .

It hasn't warmed above freezing here all day. We are expecting temps in the teens tonight. This is unusual for our area.

Global Warming!:rolleyes::p Here in central Florida I was wearing a t-shirt up till 1:30 this afternoon. Suppose to get into maybe the mid 20's tonight.
With a high of only 47 tomorrow....Brrrrrrrr.

I'm thinking about emailing the governor of the state. And asking him to only let Model-A, Model-T {O'K, all other type "Antique" cars too} people
move into the state from now on.:) What'a ya' think?

We had -30 air temp (not wind chill that was about -50) this morning, and it never got above -20 all day.

We forgot to cover the tomatoes last night; We may have lost them! -24 this morning -45 wind chill. I am sure it hurt the banana harvest in North Dakota, but the oil keeps on pumping.

Tonight is going to be rough here in Michigan, saying wind chills could go down to -50. After the 16 inches of snow last night, the roads are bad and salt is not working at the low temps. Keep your self safe and stay warm Michiganders.

"T" Shirt weather here in Fairbanks Alaska - a Balmy + 20 F.

It will be back to a normal -30 by this weekend, we may be sending more your direction soon.

Darryl in Fairbanks

Feel your pain, too cold to be playin with cars! 16 degrees here today. Had to drain the cooling system on my cabriolet last nite. Spent last week sorting out a cracked head and blown head gasket problem and had not put antifreeze back in it yet. Hopefully will be warmer later in the week.

Coldest weather here in 20+ years. 11 tonight with w/chill in the - column. Entirely too cold for Alabama, Thank goodness, no wet stuff though, a blessing for sure. Stay warm wherever you are...

Wimp weather.
Last time I was in Alaska they hadn't invented "wind chill" yet and it was 68 below for 10 days straight. It was so cold that if you talked outside, you had to take the words inside and warm them up to hear what was said.
Time for either a "tinney" or some "plonk".
