Tom Wesenberg (It's time)

I can remember riding up the mountain on the cog, sitting in the back and having cinders come back, some inside w/windows open. It's quite an experience.

FYI - We visited Mt Washington in Sept. and the Cog Railway engines were big ugly diesels! - no more coal/steam!:(

First the Old Man in the Mountain goes, now the Cog Railway has switched to diesel? Next thing you know there'll be sales tax and the Union Leader will endorse a Democrat! It's the Apocalypse! :D

Tom,
OMG...say it isn't so! Hmm, sounds like the 'lady' sitting behind me , meant business! She had also mentioned the EPA and what a shame it was that this (coal soot) was allowed! I won't go into any more details , because SHE rambled on as we moved to different seats. Rest of convo might be construed as political...and I hate politics:rolleyes:!!
