Even though selling only a title is illegal in most or all states, I think purchasing titles is done as it is much easier than jumping through all the hoops (bonding, fees, time required, etc.) your state requires. You can see the states reasoning, however, as stolen cars could be a problem with boughten titles. However to your question, I have seen titles go from anywhere from $350 to $500. I suspect there are many buyers out there that would like to purchase a model A title to match their body style. Many model A's are found in farmers groves, barns, garages and other places that have long since have their titles lost. If you sell your title, you and the buyer would probably be better protected if something like a frame, or other major part(s) went with the title.
