Since freight on tires tends to be a big deal, you might want to check out Macs to see what they might have that you could pick up for free freight.

When I was 16, my 31 Fordor came with either 15 or 16" Ford solid steel wheels when I bought it. .....

Hey, that's what mine came with too. I was 17. Here we are screwing around trying to drive it into the school building. A local politician gave me $10 to drive around with his sign on top.

But, more recently, I had Universals before my current Firestones. The problem with them is that they were terribly out of balance; a tire shop determined that they would need to double-stack the stick on weights to balance them.
