Tires

I picked up an A coupe for a hot rod project and it came with many bits I don't need including tires.
I want to sell off some parts to finance the rest of the project.
The Tires in question are Lester 440 450 21 white walls, never mounted and still in the shipping paper.
How do I tell how old these things are and if they are still usable?

EWWWWW ! closest thing to that kind of number is 2888 anywhere on these!

Me thinks these are off to the trash heap ? never mounted still in the paper wrap.

Unless someone says otherwise

Den, If you need to sale the tires, you should use the Swap Meet section of Ford Barn. That being said, I'm interested in one of your white wall tires, I need a good spare.

Den, they may be ok as long as they aren't as "hard as Chinese Arithmatic"!! Hard tires are difficult to mount, ride rough, and wear quickly. For a car that is 'garage art' or for a parade car, they may be fine.

Ok Guys I'll put them up in the classified section .
Thanks wasn't tryin to sell them here just wanted to know if they were ok first.
