I am in the process of finishing up my '30 Tudor and will soon be buying tires. I also want Black Walls and a tire that looks right for the car. I am going to buy Goodyear's. They are not the cheapest, but I am sure you would be very satisfied with them.

Again, Just my opinion.

As reported the Goodyears fit the wells very well. The profile of the tire is such that the speedometer will be very close, assuming that your speedometer is calibrated and the drive gear and rear axle ratio match. The current production Firestones have a larger than original profile, are very tight in the wheel wells, and will cause a 6% error in the odometer and speedometer. I am using both brand of tires (19") on my cars and prefer the Goodyears. Gar Williams

Where is the best place to buy goodyears? Do the goodyears flat spot like the imports when they sit for a while? Where are the goodyears made? Anyone try the lucas tires ? thanks

Kelsey Tire. The ads are in the club magazines. Lucas gets them from Kelsey. Regardless, they are about the same price. You may save a little on shipping. I think Lucas is in CA and OH, Kelsey may be MO?
