Will tires be subjected to a Tariff come 2025? Should I buy now?

Somehow I'm not seeing that happen. Not Coker in particular but any supplier selling imported products. If there is a tariff on imports, Coker will pay it on top of the cost of any supplies from outside the US (rubber for example). The tariff money goes to Washington. Then Coker will either reduce its profits ...
I think the whole point of tariffs is to incentivize companies to start manufacturing back to the good ole USA...![]()

According to Coker Tire- "It's one of the few companies headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and the tires are manufactured in the United States. Coker Tire Company is unique because they have the manufacturing rights for classic tires made by BF Goodrich, Michelin, and even Firestone."
No tariffs on goods made in the USA. That was kindof the whole point.
in real life, companies will just move manufacturing to another low cost/wage country (vs China). A 20% tariff on other countries' products probably won't do more than raise prices.
Prices go up either way.

True, but at least the increase stays in the US...
That would be "Hergestellt in Deutschland"
You may be right that was almost 25 years ago, I swear it was 'macht' maybe what you are saying is Low German, they told me that was 'hillbilly German' spoken in the north and they couldn't understand them!
I was in the extreme south die Pfalz, Rhineland-Palatinate and the Saar, right next to Bavaria....They speak High German they told me that was the 'refined' Germanthe language of business and more intelligent people.... hey I'm just saying what I was told!
